    Budget is max €450-500,
Basically I have a mac and have progressed in my computer science degree and not need a windows machine, I know I could setup a virtual drive but my hard drive is nearly full on on my macbook pro and I wouldn't mind having a laptop for college and one for personal stuff.

It doesn't have to be amazing (obviously at that price it won't be) and I have a few ideas in my head as to what I want, but I suppose its always good to get other opinions. :)

Again I'm not fuzzy, HD size isn't a massive requirement, ideally 13 inch, with a good solid build (like a macbook pro,) decent ram and a nice processor.

    Suggestions?

You're looking for an aluminum case laptop with a nice processor and big RAM? For €500? Good luck to you.

For 500 yoyos, you'll get some 15" budget laptop (and they look it) with a Core i5 and 8 GB RAM but forget about the "good solid build (like a macbook pro)" part.

You may find some 13" laptops on that price range, but the processors aren't the fastest. Have a look at the ASUS Vivobook S200e (13" touchscreen, Core i3 ULV, 4 GB RAM, not sure if upgradable)
