    anyone taken either of these courses or any other similar ones?
    what was covered? would you recommend?

    I did the woodwork course at Ringsend 2 years ago. We made a wooden frame around a mirror and a swivel stand for it.Measured our own pieces, sawed, chisled and glued the joints.
    Planing of the front was done by teacher.
    It takes longer than youd think to do that! Took all the way to the end of term.
