Mac Mini - Video issues

    Hi folks

I have my Mac Mini hooked up to my TV, every once in a while the video feed will flick to pink or green (you can still see the picture via contrast) most times after a few seconds it will flick back, sometimes though I will have to switch I will have to switch channel and go back for it to go back to normal.

I've checked the display settings and Hz ratings and all should be ok, it's all connected via a direct HDMI connection and I've swapped out the cables so that doesn't seem to be the problem. I haven't swapped out the screen (to another TV) yet but that's probably the next step.

Anybody ever seen anything like this or had a similar problem?
    Any advice much appreciated

    Hi Hick

I've had many issues with the server version of that mac mini and direct HDMI connections, what I would suggest is a display port adapter to HDMI to test and see if that alleviates the issue, I've done this and no display issues since, in saying that I'm going from display port to DVI.

    Thanks Nialler

Come to think of it, whenI had it hooked in via my amp ai didn't have this issue, now that I've moved to a sonos setup I have it connected directly. I might see if I can put a HDMI analogue switch inbetween it and the TV to see if it helps
