Just signed up for a months free trial with the UK and Irish catalogue and I think I might soon be swapping to the US one, it seems to rehash a lot of the UK material already on 4OD.

    Any good recommendations?

Sons of anarchy, breaking bad are only some of the shows ive watched and highly recommend them both. The odd low budget movie can be found also when there nothing else on the tele.

Edit: beaten to it, but also luther, excellent tv show

Sorry, should have mentioned, Ive already watched Breaking Bad, House Of Cards and Dexter.

Is Luther of the same BBC standard as Sherlock?

    Lilyhammer was on BBC4

Anyway, some already mentioned but heres my list:

    Justified
    Nurse Jackie
    It's always sunny in Philadelphia
    House of Cards
    Orange is the New Black
    Battlestar Galactica
    Weeds (earlier stuff)
    Archer
    Arrested Develpment
    The League
    Californication

Think all those are on the Irish/UK version.

White collar - very good show
Heartland - family drama but is very good
    One tree hill
Friday night lights- everybody that watches this show that I've talked to loves it, sports show and has some really good characters!!

Justified is really good, Timothy Olyphant from Deadwood is in it. Season 1 is good but from 2 onward it's great.

Never seen it but it's easily idris Elba's best role since the wire

Only 12 episodes in total over the 3 seasons

    We'll worth watching

Life On Mars and Ashes to Ashes as well, although Series 3 of Ashes seems to be a cut down from the broadcast for some strange reason.

    This too shall pass.

Jericho. I quite like that show. It has a small, devoted fanbase. The small part resulted in it getting cancelled after 1 season, but due to fan backlash, it got a 2nd season. There are talks that Netflix will bring it back for a season 3. People actually watching Jericho on Netflix wouldn't hurt that.

What's the gist of the story in Jerico? What genre would it come under?

It's a post apocalyptic one. It's set in a small town that is trying to survive and figure out what is going on. It's a lot better than some of the other post apocalypse shows you might have seen. It does have the usual drama fair of a lot of TV shows - the will they, wont they thing, and an infidelity storyline I didn't care for, but in spite of those it has a lot going for it. Well worth watching.

I think I ruined that for myself by reading a massive season 2 spoiler

Could be wrong, but I think it's usually around 3/4am Monday morning they appear of Netflix.

EDIT: Sorry.. just checked and it's actually still is on US Netflix.

3rd season is the weakest, 4 and 5 the best. Season 6 has started in the usa.

    Great show I love it.

Now that Breaking Bad is over I'm looking for a good series to start watching on Netflix. I dont think I'd like Sons of Anarchy. Any other suggestions? House of Cards is good but I don't think its back for a while.
