Needs to be portable - 14">
Price - €500-550 budget
Used for college, lot of web, watching/streaming video's, music, occasional gaming (possibly, not essential), may put linux on it.

Sorry again for another laptop thread to add to the already growing list!

Pretty good value for €427.

Easy access to HDD and RAM.

Just the battery life is a bit disappointing, < 3 hrs surfing with WLAN.

If you want a touchscreen, the 13" ASUS Vivobook S200e has similar specs and doesn't cost much more.
