Oral Hearing Carers Allowance

Hi looking for some advice please. I am going with my Mum tomorrow to an oral appeal meeting for her application for carers allowance that was refused to her. She looks after my brother, who had a learning disability, bipolar disorder, speech impediments, among other things. Would anybody know what to expect from a meeting like this please? She is quite nervous about it and I really want to be able to alleviate some of the worry for her. I cannot explain how much she deserves this, she literally does not get a break with my brother and he is 32 years old.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice you may have:(
