    So my current specs are

    HS-FC3-1.jpg

Im thinking of going for the following

Intel 3rd Generation Core i7-3770K CPU
    Corsair Hydro Series H100i
    Motherboard?
Corsair Obsidian Series 800D Full Tower

So thoughts on that? (my budget is 1,000 euro)

I know there's no real big need to be changing but ill be going ahead with it anyway. I hope to be buying in October/Novemeber

My only obstacle is the motherboard, i just dont know what to get tbh

Jumping from Sandy to Ivy doesn't seem worth it to me. Do you need an i7 for any particular reason? Custom water will outperform an H100i, no?

I'll be the first to post that you have allready have a fantastic system. You obviously have an SSD. i7 offers no benefits over i5 for gaming and the 2500k is still a great processor.

Do you have a 1440P monitor?

yes I have the qnix 1440p monitor. Im not going back to custom watercooling again, yes its epic in terms of how quiet it is but I just think its worth it overall. I have 2 SSD's too

Like I said lads I know im not going to have a huge performance difference but im bored of my pc and need a change. I think the GPU's are good for a bit yet?

You've already made the investment in the pump/rads, why would you then sell everything? That would be far worse value than anything.

There's no point upgrading, really, not with dual 670s. If you just want something new, build a HTPC or server or something.

I dont plan to sell everything, just the WC kit. Ill most likely keep the other stuff and have a 2nd pc

Do you think id be better off upgrading just the 2 670's?

There would be no point upgrading the two graphics cards. Two very good cards. A great SLI setup.

I wouldn't bother upgrading anything, is what I'm saying.

Ye are in cahoots with my wallet in not wanting to spend money

I'm on an i5-2500k and am not looking to upgrade this system for at least another 2 years even though I would normally upgrade every 3 years, because it can handle everything thrown at it and is still one of the fastest pc's I have used even though I work in an IT department
With graphics not pushing pc power to it's fullest due to the end of this generation of consoles I would keep that setup and maybe buy a PS4 to keep you happy :D

I'd have to agree it would be pointless upgrading. Wait for the next gen of processors and g-cards maybe.

Push your 2500k overclock higher if you're bored :)
