Youtube trouble

    So I recently built my first PC and I'm having awful problems with youtube.

    Videos simply will not load beyond a few seconds. Now I don't think its a flash issue because I can view video on other sites fine. The same thing happens if I switch to HTML5 mode.

    Could it be a driver issue? I have a 7990 and I'm on the latest catalyst beta drivers.

    Neither mind. Looks like it could be a broader problem:(

    I just posted about this in another thread, it might help you out;
    Check your AntiVirus/Internet Security software.
    I've had problems with Avast & YouTube from time to time.
    Something to do with their Web Shield or Network Shield.

    Try disabling your AntiVirus temporarily and see if that helps.
    (If it's Avast; right click on taskbar icon, go to "Avast Shield controls" and "Disable for 10 minutes".)
