The first Powerlifting Inter Varsities is taking place in the CIT Sports Hall on the 12th of October.

The comp is a full Power IDFPA event and lifters have to members of the IDFPA and registered to a third level college to compete.

There are a good few colleges taking part with CIT, UCC, CSN, WIT, ITCarlow and UCD all set to send teams and as well as the normal divisions and best lifters there will be a shield for the best team.

If your a student and your college does not have a club (yet) you can still come and lift!
