Im not looking for advice, Ive been to doctors, physios, aquapuncture, consultants, hospitals, had injections lol, got loads of advice, but a year and a half later still no change, so just intrigued as to whether anyone else has ever heard of this... In April 2012, got up to go to the loo and walked into the sharp corner of a table outside of the bedroom door... thought nothing except, that hurt.. a day later got a sharp pain in my groin in the same leg, completely out of the blue, but when I looked there was a swelling kind of over my hip running around under my buttock.. Went straight to the doctor, it was initially diagnosed as bursitis, have had injections etc etc... literally have been to everyone I can think of.. the closest Ive come to getting some answers was with a fantastic physio in Clondalkin, who told me was a muscle that runs between the hip joint and the base of the buttock...thought he could feel some scar tissue there, but have had 3 MRIs and nothing has shown up.. So a year and a half later Im having to wear trousers 2 sizes bigger to accomodate that leg... the swelling hasnt really changed, its just there all the time, just wonder has ANYONE else ever heard of a similar story?...Just to add to the mix, both my knees are fairly falling apart also lol... x
