    Hi All,

Does anyone know if Microsoft Office (eg., Word, PowerPoint etc) works on a iPad? If so how do you purchase and install it on the iPad please??

Sadly, no. Nobody's quite sure why Microsoft, a software company, doesn't want to sell their wares on a terrifically successful operating system!

However, Apple's version of their iWork suite can both open and save as MS Office documents and they have a wonderful version available for iPad and iPhone.

It's a fiver each (Pages/Word, Numbers/Excel and Keynote/Powerpoint) to buy if you have an existing device, and free to download if you purchase a new device.

Actually I think you can get iOS versions of Office as long as you're an Office 365 subscriber:

Theres the cloudon and onlive desktop apps (might only be on US app store) which give you access to office and are free but you need to be connected to the internet to use them

You could have a look at CloudOn as well. Seems to do MS Docs.
