I apologise if there's already a thread on this, but does anyone else find Hector (whatever his name is) really irritating?

Everytime he says "keep her lit," I feel like giving someone a dig, namely him.

Keep her lit?! What are you talking about? What a stupid thing to say.

His voice is irritating, he talks about irritating things and before you ask, yes I did switch him off.

How much love/hate is out there for this guy?

"Rahoo rahoo rahoo, Red Daddy here calling all the soldiers of the dawn, it's a wet one out there today lads and lasses, so as we say in Naaaaaavan keep her lit mo chairde.. Rahoo rahoo".

If it was the breakfast show live from a burned out caravan on Craggy Island no one would care but no, this is Ireland's second national radio station.

Let's be honest, it just reflects what's been going on in the country for some time. RTE/2fm are an absolute utter shambles from top to bottom.

About 8 weeks ago, Colm Hayes took a €40,000 pay cut. He is STILL getting paid €170,000 a year. WHY are these people being paid so much money? Sack every last one of them and start again.

If I start thinking about how long it take me/what I had to do to earn €170,000 I'd probably have to be sectioned.
