    Yes, Aquinas, Plato and Ibsen influenced him. Ibsen was heavily influenced the young Joyce.

    Other influences: Dante, Giordano Bruno, Giambattista Vico, Lewis Carroll, Édouard Dujardin, Homer, Shakespeare, Flaubert, Milton and many others.
