    Hilo!

Maynooth (NUIM and SPCM) are a part of the Green Campus programme. We are a year in, but need students to help get us moving towards getting our first flag. Green Campus is similar to the Green Schools programme, promoting a better campus environment through a number of different routes.

We are looking for people who have been involved in green schools in the past, people with no idea about it and people who just want to help, everyone really, to get involved!

You can email us at greencampus@nuim.ie or find us on Facebook. We'll be out at Fairs Day and hopefully get cracking on some of our plans!

I can answer most questions here too!!

Kellie (Vice-Chair and student rep on the committee)

Was this run by lecturers last year?

It's meant to be 50/50 staff and students. It has always had students on the committee but it's been really difficult, cos there was only a small number of students and at that, not everyone could make every meeting.

I've been trying but last year with the masters it was tough to do it alone!! Hence trying to get students who can come to meetings and really want to get stuck in!!

Was just wondering...I remember Joe Larragy and Mary Benson looking for people to sign up for something similar last year.

I'd love to help out, but not sure if there's any point in me signing up seeing as I'm not going to be in Maynooth in semester 2! Is there much in the way of meetings etc Kellie? and are they during the day or evening?
