Is esso on ushers quay owned by the same person who ran it when it was topaz and was convicted of dodgy pumps

They are currently very competitive price wise, but I would avoid it on principle, if the same people were involved that had the pumps set to under dispense.

That's cause they wanted the forecourt clear so had high prices to discourage us common folk. Any business contracts they had wouldn't have been paying anywhere near the price on the sign.

Incorrect, the price on the sign was what every contract paid.

Hence why the sign price was so high.

I always figured he was the first petrol stn you hit after the ferry so was cleaning up.

I avoided him like the plague.

I notice the Stn at the Foxhunter always has 1-2 Garda cars/bikes in there I assume they have a contract now.... interestingly they are now 2-3 c higher than most others in the area too.

Really, if a pleb like me was able to purchase fuel there cheaply with a fuel card at the time, surely fleet customers were not paying retail?

Does anyone know of the quality of Campus fuels? They have just opened one in east wall in Dublin and its the cheapest in the city.

Might try them next fill up if no one has any concerns.

He's also one of the only central stations in Dublin.

If you're stuck, then you've no real option but to use him.

Isnt there a station a few hundred yards down the road in Kilmainham?

I think that's more to do with the quality of the deli in the shop :P

Nothing to be concerned about, Campus are a reputable Irish company, they are a very big operation in fuel shipping and wholesale, they also own Lifestyle Sports believe it or not.

It was because of high prices being charged to a state body it all came to light and got so much publicity.
