How much were you planning to spend and how many sheets per month are you planning on printing? Is your printing likely to be colour dense, e.g. lots of photography, or more towards black and white text?

Reason I ask is that the total cost of the printer over its life comes down to the cost of the printer, the cost of the ink, toner and other consumables, and the cost of the paper. Ink jets are cheaper to buy but work out expensive if you're printing more than a certain amount. Printing double side cuts your paper costs in half, so a duplexing printer can be a great investment. Laser printing can work out much cheaper and typically faster when dealing with large print volumes.

Here's one selection of what's available in wireless multi-function, shop around for best prices. Price and check availability of ink or toner before buying anything.

For a low cost mid-range wi-fi enabled printer/scanner, the Canon Pixma does the job well. I've an earlier model in it has stood the test of time quite well. I use a dedicated colour laser for the bigger jobs though.

It does depend on the amount you will be printing - when is comes to buying one in the like of Dixons, Harveys or PC world it is usually a case that the cheaper the machine price the more expensive the running costs are.

HP recently launched a couple of new INK jets that are far cheaper to run than lasers. I can personally recommend the HP8600 (€200-250) all in one for light usage and the HP X476 MFP (have this myself) for medium usage

They are about €490 well worth the extra money if you can - both have air print on them so work with phones & tablets etc and you can print remotely from anywhere.
