hello I have an nct test coming up and one of the bulbs on my dashboard is gone off... The main bulbs work so I can see the speedo etc but I am wondering if it will fail due to this minor bulb in the corner?

Will they be able to notice the defective bulb in daylight?

The only dashboard light I can see mentioned in the NCT manual is the one which illuminates the speedometer so I'd say you'll be ok.

My old Micra went through 2 NCTs with a dashboard light gone. You should be grand!

If it's over in the corner and the test is in the day it will never be seen.
A friend had a mark 2 golf and no illumination in the dash and it was never copped!
I suppose they check the dash for the service and warning lights and when the lights are on they're out checking the levels.

dunno if that helps, but light for my odometer was broken (effectively no odometer reading) and the car still passed, it was ~3 years ago
