    The way your feet feel and act is a key to golf. To me you need to replicate that feel during practice.

    The weight transfer. Weight distribution, feet line position, the look of lines, Biomechanics.

    This has to be the same in practice. (Imo)
    Or it is just me overthinking again.

    BTW, we dont appreciate or feet until they go wrong. (Another story)

    Always wear my golf shoes at the range. Sometimes feel like a bit of a tit walking around the range, liking getting more balls, in them though.

    I do but I'm not convinced that wearing them replicates "on course" conditions more so than wearing a good pair of runners with some grip.
    A lot of the pros basically wear "runners" (don't know what the kids are calling them these days) on the PGA when they're playing on bone dry fairways.
    A range mat is probably closer to those conditions than the fairways we play on
