Trouble setting up email on HTC One and iPad

    Hi all,

    Just wondering if anyone has succeeded in setting up their nuig mail on a HTC one or on iPad? I downloaded the OWA app on iPad but it won't recognise my account. Can't seem to get my email on my HTC either... Any advice?

    On the HTC One's standard mail app;

    Account Name: nuigalway.ie
    Email Address: whatever@nuigalway.ie
    Server Address: m.outlook.ie

    Username: whatever@nuigalway.ie
    Password: your NUIG email passowrd

    Security: SSL/TLS
    Port: 993

    Outgoing server: pod51002.outlook.com
    Security: STARTTLS (or just "TLS")
    Port: 587

    Username: <NUIG email>
    Password: <NUIG email password>

    Do I do it through Microsoft exchange or other (pop3/Imap)?

    IMAP. IMAP keeps the client and server in sync, so anything you do on one will be done on the other :)
