Speed limits.

    I was curious about the speed limits road workers put up when they are fixing or building a road. I remember reading a couple of years ago that they were not actually legal but a suggestion and you could not be prosecuted for going over the speed limit. But you can be prosecuted if it goes through the by-laws.
    Is this true and if so where do you access the by-laws of your county?

    By-laws are set by the local authority, so check with your local council.
