Replacement for Eircom Modem/Router

    Hi All,

    New to this forum so please be gentle...

    Lately my old Eircom Modem/Router is giving trouble, losing connection and taking forever to re-establish itself following a power cycle.

    I'm looking to replace it with something a bit future proof.

    I have an unboxed Netgear N300 (I think) which I can use but the kids watch a lot of stuff on you tube and it's not ideally suited to streaming HD content according to the back of the box.

    Can anyone recommend something I can buy?

    We have a few devices in the house working wirelessly (iPad, Laptop, Smart TV, a few iPhones .....)
