    Hi all,

I need to buy a USB microscope for my primary school. I'm a teacher and I need it for basic ecology studies along with some materials experiments. I'd be connecting it to the classroom PC to show on the interactive whiteboard.

At the moment, this seems to be at the top of the list.

Thanks a lot for any recommendations.

    HI,
Heres a link I came across some time ago. They have lots of bits and pieces for several areas of science. Seem to be aimed at schools and universities. May be a good place to start for reference?

Do you know if you need a stereo mic or a compound?
They also have some nice prepared slides for what seems to be a reasonable price.
One thing i would be wary of is going too low in price and not being able to see satisfactory images.
    Hope this helps?

Thanks a lot. I ended up going with a Veho x400 USB microscope. It does the trick nicely for what I want and cost around the €50 mark.

Thanks for that good to know. Just wondering is it possible to post some shots from this? Could be useful for future reference on this type of scope?
