iPhone dilemma? Buy the 5 or pay more for the 5s or 5c?

I just did a review of my sisters phone bills and she really wants to get an iPhone. She currently spends avg. ~ €46/month on her contract which is Meteor's 30 day sim-only contract 200mins, 200txts and 1GB of data for €20/month however she always exceeds her allowance and gets higher bills as her allocation is too low.

Meteor's 24month contract with 400mins, 400txts and 1GB of data and free meteor calls and texts would suit her perfectly. The iPhone 5 16GB is €229 on the package and over the two years she'd save over €100 even with the €229 for the iPhone 5 taken into account.

Presumably the new iPhone 5s will be around a similar price (€229) but will require you to take out a more expensive contract to get the phone >€40/month, especially as it looks like the 5s will cost around ~€700 so the operators won't be selling the phone on cheaper contracts.

I think she should get the 5 now which is a really nice phone and will be far superior to the 5c which is replacing it.

    Any suggestions?

Id say the phone will cost much more than €229 on that package and maybe the same monthly charge. The 5c is better species than the 5 as well.
