TMJ treatment in Dublin

Hi there, I know that we are not allowed to post clinic or dentist names on the forum, but I'd appreciate it if anyone could PM me with details of good dentists who can treat a TMJ problem in Dublin.

I was told recently by an ENT that some problems I'm having are down to my TMJ but he didn't really go into detail about having it sorted.

I've ground my teeth at night my whole life, to the point that my back teeth are flat. This year I got mouth guard from my dentist which seemed to help a bit, but eventually I just learned to clench hard down on it which is only making the tension in my face feel worse.

I'm working on stress relief and relaxation to try and lessen the problem, it does seem to help. I'm also putting heat on my face and neck, working to improve my posture & sleeping position, and doing some stretches & yoga to try and release everything. I have an acid reflux problem at night too, which seems to make the grinding worse if it is bad.

I believe my lower jaw is too far back, and bizarrely some days it looks even further back when the tension in my face feels at it's worst! I don't know if that's an active imagination though ;)

For almost a whole year I've had daily tinnitus, neck tension, dizziness & vision problems. I've been working with a balance therapist who has helped enormously, and now we are working on trying to release tension from my jaw, neck & shoulders. These days I can feel the tension in my face, feel the muscles pulling sometimes & the areas around my ear & jaw joints are very tender. I clench my jaw a lot even when I am awake, so am trying to remain aware and not do that.

If anyone can offer advice or help I'd appreciate it.
