    Stage 21: Leganés - Madrid 109.6km

It's the last stage of an absolutely epic grand tour; and we can safely predict that this will end in a bunch sprint! This stage, as with as final stage in a GT, will start off very relaxed and the speed will only ramp up once they hit the circuit in Madrid.

Here's a link to the Irish rider's diary thread.

Live TV coverage on Eurosport1 from 3pm.
Highlights on Eurosport1 at 10.30pm, and on ITV4 at 7pm.

Sad its the last day :(
Hardly a sprinter left ....maybe Horner might win this one also :D

I am actually not a fan of Horner...I don't like the high pitched giggly American voice and the talking to camera, etc

(just as I don't like Froome for sticking it to Wiggins in 2012 tour or complaining about Contador on descents in 2013)

Well Nibali has conceded to Horner ........... or is it just a bluff? :)

There are a few sprinters still in the race, but will their teams be able to control things to set up a mass sprint? Although it may be highly unlikely to work, I wonder if there's any chance that an old style 'deal' (€'s) could be attempted with some other team to pull from the drop of the flag and try to get and then maintain a gap? Horner's team are pretty depleted, while Nibaili's guys are undoubtedly shagged, but cooperation from others could make a difference. The weather conditions aren't going to help - no chance of strong cross winds today, it seems - but Nibali needs only (!) 28 seconds plus the winners bonus to nick back the Maillot Rojo. There are 8 laps of a 5.7km circuit around the streets of the capital so I suppose anything could happen. It has been a great Vuelta, and yesterdays stage was epic.....maybe there's still a twist in the tale?

Nothing will happen on the GC today! I think it's fair to assume the race finished yesterday - baring crashes.

Is Horner first American to win a GT since Lemond?

So on top of no doping speculation, with spoiler tags comments about the stage in a thread about the stage are censored now too! Twilight zone stuff.
Is there somebody else in the shadows threatening to sue?

So the message is - If you want to talk about today's cycling, go elsewhere. The cycling board is not the place.

Love Sean Kellys description of Roche time loss in the cold weather

" He not like a typical paddy"

Also Contador has announced he will ride the Vuelta next year....so no leader role for Nico then

    Kelly is quite funny today.

After Nico has put in such a great performance this year, are they really going to take the leader role from him? He's been improving hugely.
