If a solicitor is struck off, what happens to client files, deeds etc? Is there something the client needs to do in this situation or what happens?

Anyone in such a situation should contact the Law Society, they will either arrange for file to be transferred to another solicitor of your choice or a Law Society appointed solicitor. If there is any extra costs or other issues same should be covered by the compensation fund.
