Hello, just wondering what is the process for getting electric supply in house.
We've paid esb to put in pole already and it's connected to pole across the road.

What happens next? Is it a case of switching it on? Can any supplier do this?

Finally anyone recommend one supplier over another?

Sorry for stupid questions but finding it hard to find the right info.

    Thanks

Your wiring will need to be complete and certified by a registerred electrician.. from what I remember you'll need to produce this cert to the ESB or whey won't supply the power..

Between the pole and the box on your property you'll have to supply a duct with a draw rope pre installed. Once the cert is produced and the ducting is ready the ESB will pull in a supply cable and make the connection. the details of the duction requirments are on the ESB website somewhere.. it will detail the type of ducting (red) and the required depths and need for warning tape in the backfill..
