Hi I was up fitting a UHF antenna on the side of my house pole fitted and lined up with Dublin mountains and a clear site to the Antenna on top and no joy whatsoever would I have to tilt it upwards.

I fitted a freesat dish and there was a design fault on it where I had to add extra nuts to create a space to tilt the dish up more was at it scratching the head as to why got no signal.

    Thanks for any help.

No need to tilt the antenna upwards, even if you are fairly close to the transmitter site. You must have boobed with something else.
