Boards Beers - We suck at this

So we need to organise a new Beers ASAP so I'm starting this seeing as no one else *cough* Thwip! *cough* will!

So when suits people best?
Thursday of Orientation week - the 19th
Thursday of the first official week back - the 26th
or do we go into October?

Thursdays generally suck for me cause I won't be out from town until at least 9, but I'll be able to call in then. So whichever one you'd pick will be grand. The first week of semester mightn't be great though if people will want to head out with friends for the first Thursday back?

Maybe a different day would be better? I just picked Thursday because that seemed to be what we had agreed on.

How about a Tuesday? Not normally a night out for people which could make Beers easier to attend?

I have been reading up on the madness and I am looking forward to a nice pint after the stress and insanity of registration on Thursday. If anyone wants to join me and whoever I get from orientation sessions is welcome and plan from there. I am a newbie but I'm mad enough to solve these conundrums :-D hope someone that knows of the pub scene can recommend one and see some people there... If not there is still drink so I'm good either way :-P

I'm in work nearly every day until term officially starts, including the Thursday, so my vote goes for the first week in.
