I got two of these from argos for €28 a couple of weeks ago and they seem good quality, fast enough to charge and last a good while too. They come with two battery packs each too so it really good value, great for charging the controllers for the COD sessions as I can charge all for at the same time.

Cheaper again, going to try and cancel my order.. :pac:
    I should've looked in Argos.

    €26.99 tomorrow. DANG. I'll wait the week.

    EDIT. 2 FOR €28??

Jaysis. 1 for €14? Well worth it.

They are not the duracell ones but they are good, like I said they charge pretty quick and last a good while, I've used one of the battery packs for about 8-10 hours of gameplay before having to recharge it again(I charge them once the light flashes and not when they die completely).

Changed it. Still good enough for me. Half price of Original Offer.

Reserved them until today and couldn't make it, so i will re-reserve them, and send you a PM, if you don't want them, i'll offer them up to Johnnycabs or whoever.

I was PM'ing him when i realised there was only one box :D.

Person in Argos should've copped there were two reserved, or stated that "For an extra €1, you can get another set."

    Ringing them now.

Argos are usually pretty decent to deal with, shouldn't be a problem (hopefully).

Does the Xbox need to be power on for these to charge? or is there power to the USB socket when switched off.

It doesn't need to be turned on to charge, I actually unplug the docks to turn the lights off, until I need to charge the batteries.

What ones did you get? In the end they gave me two different ones. :(
I don't know if either are better, or to change one for two the same, but obviously the better of the two.

One is Gamexpert and the other is unbranded.

Hi, they where both the same and it just has xbox 360 on the box, couldn't tell you which is better, I'm only the present buyer but maybe some of the gamers on here can help you.

There is no branding on them at all so it must be the other one.

I read a few reviews about both. (BTW i misnamed the first one, they're called Gamexpert.)

They both seem the same. Both get goodish reviews. And when they were £22stg. So €14 is good.

just picked up my two :) young fella will be delighted (might mean I get my controllers back) lol

My mind boggles the fact that they have to print "Xbox 360 controllers not included" on the box
