    Hi Guys,

I need a new 9-speed rear mechanism. The original one is a Mirage around 2005 and it looks more less like this.

Question is, would any other 9-speed Campagnolo rear dérailleur suit instead and would it be fully compatible with the shifter?

any 9 speed campag shifter will work, yes.

Even the 10 speeds will work AFAIK.

Thanks. The Mirage shifters will stay in place actually, I only need a new rear mechanism (so if a 9-speed Athena mech. or anything would work, it would make my searching easier).

    Sorry I meant mech!

It's all to do with the pull ratio and campag haven't changed that between Mirage and now.
