Lucan needs a fire station

Population of Lucan in 2011 was 46,500.
Lucan is served from Tallaght and Blanchardtown.
The Adamstown development was supposed to have a fire station, but we all know what happened to that.
So - Lucan needs a fire station, where would it go?

There's not an awful lot of space left in Lucan. I would guess on the outskirts somewhere, like near Adamstown.

Or maybe further over towards foxborough.

There is no mention of a delay in the newspaper report about the fatal fire. The 2nd fire is not in a residential area.

Once the Adamstown project stopped and the projected 10,000 units were never going to materialise, a lot of potential projects ended in Adamstown.

The powers that be won't sanction the expenditure on a station. They wouldn't put a post office in Adamstown, let alone a fire station.
