I am new to contacts and right now I wear johnson and Johnson acuvue Trueye daileys, but they are extremely expensive, 60 euro for 30 days, I need daily ones as I'm 14. Please recommend some others that are comfortable and cheaper

Hi eirelemon, you could try clariti 1 day. they are sold by specsavers as "easyvision umere". 50 euro for 30 days, but if you sign up for lensmail, they are 37.50 per month(you would need to start with a 3 month supply, 112.50). They are ok, but not as comfortable as trueye, in my opinion. Trueye on lensmail are 140.00 for the first 3 month supply, then monthly payment of about 46.67.

The cheapest daily disposable lenses are daysoft. These are extremely cheap, but i haven't tried them and be warned, they are not silicone hydrogel like trueye and clariti, so let in much much less oxygen to the eyes.

    Hope this helps.

Trueye are a premium daily product and carry a premium price for convienence and health benefits. They are for long hours of wear, those with dryeyes and willing to pay for a top of the range product. There are other similar products clarity, total 1, myday, all are 45 to 75 euro. Go back to your optician and explain you needs and price point. Ask about monthlies or other water based dailies. It's up to them to provide you with a lens suitable to your needs.

Please don't go down the daysoft route. Lenses need to be professionally fitted and assessed not handed out like sweeties.
