    Hey guys,

Question is pretty much in the title. It's after becoming a fairly regular thing that it asks for permission to make changes on the hardware on my laptop. It's annoying that it keeps popping up. Is it something that I can allow update my computer or should I steer clear of it?

If it is something that I should stay away from, how can I remove it from the laptop?

    Thanks

    Java Update Checker.

If you want to update Java manually, you can safely disable it (i.e. with Auroruns) and can download the latest update here.

If you don't need the Java Runtime Environment, you might as well uninstall it.
