I bought a citizen aqualand eco drive last summer so its under warranty and I have the warranty card etc, the numbers on the bezel about a month ago fell off I brought it into weirs and they sent it away charged me 35 euro for currier and it took three weeks to get "fixed" so I got it back thursday and I took it off me and put it on the table tonight, the numbers fell off again they just put a lil bit of glue on the inside the bezel to hold the numbers in again I spent 600 euro for this watch and im pretty pissed what you guys think ? im gonna go into weirs tmrw and tell them I want it fixed properly what would you guys do in my position ?

This is more for Consumer issues forum than Watches. But if it were me I would be bringing the watch back in to Wiers and asking them to right the situation. Simples.

I'd want a refund, or a replacement. You bought from Weirs so they are obliged to make it right.

I would also make a very pointed complaint about the quality of the 'repair'.

If Weirs don't fix you up (I'd be surprised if they don't to be honest) I would tell them that my next move is to write to Citizen detailing what's happened and in particular describing the 'repair'.

If its under warranty they shouldn't have charged you €35 for courier.

This! I'd be looking for my €35 back - that's a disgrace!

I'd be emailing Citizen HO pronto if they didn't give a refund. (And I bet they didn't tell you about courier charges when you handed over €600!)

Also, the Citizen agent is based in Shannon, and one of the guys there used to post here a bit - Calcul IIRC....

I was reading this thread wondering why people thought he bought it in Weirs!?

Many years ago my brother was being complimented in Weirs by the salesman over his Tag Heuer Carrera. It was a nice looking watch, but cost 30usd in a Vietnamese market. He got the thing running again and my brother made a hasty retreat after revealing its true provenance.
