landis & staefa RWB 100 wiring configuration?

hi all,

I'm wondering can you experts please Help. my father is trying to fit an RWB 100 controller to my grandmothers heating system, but is unsure of where to connect the wire for both the boiler and the circulating pump.

Live & neutral fine.

Tried so far connecting to terminal 2 but not working.

any advice?

Link L & 2, then SWL from 4 (only if switching circuit is 230V. If volt free, do not insert link.

Thanks, as far as I can make out, the wiring configuration is the same for the rwb 27
