foreign earners tax break

Does anybody know of a foreign tax break . i'm a irish guy working for an irish company but might have to head aboard with the irish company working outside the EU .

My friend was in a similar position few years ago and once you work 90 days outside of Ireland you get good tax breaks . he said that might have changed since .

There may be some claimable expenses, which effectively gives you some tax relief. Lots of complicated rules tho... For example your employer might be able to provide you with accomodation without it counting as a benefit in kind. Talk to tax advisor.

It also depends on what country you are going to. For example Ireland and the UK have lots of agreements in place, you can be put on "secondment" to a UK company - in which case HMRC allows you lots of stuff.

Note that the rules above show what is allowable, not what expenses your employer will actually give you...
