Does anyone have any good tips to avoid looking shiny faced in photos? I use Elizabeth Arden flawless finish and always a light cover of powder, but in every photo (when a flash is used) I have shiny cheeks and forehead - thanks in advance :p

I use Estee Lauder Double Wear and Mac's MSF powder and I find it works well for me.

Use a brush which has dense bristles so lots of powder is applied.

Make sure to leave a good while between moisturising and putting on foundation so it's all sunk in before the foundation goes on.

Also, maybe use a less harsh cleanser and only cleanse at night, just washing your face in the morning as sometimes this encourages oil production. Consider using a lighter moisturiser for day than for night.

    Hope that helps! :)

Do you use a primer? I use this: No7 Beautifully Matte Makeup Base and find it pretty good for not going shiny by the middle of the day. I know it's just photos you said, so don't know if that's any good.
