nexus 7 screen removal

Just wondering has anyone tried removing the lcd screen from the glass?

I was thinking of giving it a try as the glass digitizer is cheaper on its own than with the lcd screen.

Any tips? Can it be done?

Ye, i have actually since tried to remove the digitizer from the lcd but it broke so will have to buy the whole replacement.

It's a pitty because the device itself is great value for money, but i suppose to sell it for the price they sell it at, something has to give a the manufacturing side of things

Here's one for 50 of ebay but you can get them for 45. they come from china so expect to be waiting 3 weeks but it will arrive.
