Never been to one of these things before but am planning to go tomorrow. Stupid question time: What do people wear at such events? I hadn't thought about anything other than jeans and a shirt, but then I read elsewhere that it's best to go the whole nine yards and wear a suit?

Wear the suit just in case, you never know you might end up talking to a decision maker...so treat it like showing up for an interview
