What would be the best upgrade if ye had 200 to spend on a bike with sora components I've recently bought mavic comic elite wheels so was thinking a carbon seat post? Or new cassette?

    Any advice lads?
    Thanks

    200 euro sunglasses.

In this case you can put a price on looking cool.

Some winter gear if you don't have it already. A good set of lights, arm and leg warmers, long sleeve base layers, jacket, overshoes, bib tights and don't skimp on the gloves.

Thanks guys the sora components are fairly new
I also have shoes cleats and winter stuff
I'd ideally like to put a 105 groupset on my bike but it's a lot of money for a specialized allez sport frame ?

If the Sora bits are new enough I personally wouldn't upgrade them just yet, you might as well get full use out of it. 105 is a good step up but 200 AFAIK wouldn't cover the full change from 8/9 speed Sora to 10 speed 105? The shifters alone would eat up pretty much all of that.

I spent about that much on shoes and they really are probably my favourite purchase I've ever made. Big difference in comfort to my older 70-80 euro ones.

But if you're completely happy with all your clothing and stuff, I'd just save it away for a bigger buy.

    I'd go for...

Chinese Carbon fork and seatpost - €90
    New tires (gp4000's) - €70-80
    Handlebars - €40'ish

Would probably knock best part of a kilo off your bike.
