Just booked tickets for the SelfBuild & Improve your home show, which started today in Citywest, until the 15th.

I downloaded free tickets using promotional the code NEWSTALK, which are valid for any day.

    Workshops are extra though.

The link for tickets at the end of the page: http://selfbuild.ie/the-shows/

Just back from it...its ok...not too bad at all in fact.:)

Lots of renewable energy companies, window companies and furniture companies displaying there.

Nice to see them also having some landscapers and garden specialists there this year.

Afterall, the garden is the 5th room of your house...so they say....:D

The carpark is right beside the entrance to Selfbuild....about 1 minute of a walk to the entrance/ticket kiosk.

Plenty of space in the carpark too,as its a big carpark.

Sambos and tea are a tad on the expensive side.

Fiver for a brown bread ham and cheese sambo and 2 euro 50 cents for a cuppa tea...(Im a real miser aren't I??:pac::pac::D).

Not much for kids to do really......apart from a swing and slide set in the outdoor/garden area.
But that said, some of the stands and traders were still only setting up,so there may be more for the kids to do tomorrow and Sunday.

But we enjoyed it as it was free in....(free tickets on website).

Met some of my friends from 3 of the companies we used in the past and had a good chat with them.

So all in all......not too bad a morning spent.:)

Do you have to print off the tickets or can they just scan the QR code in the email off your phone.

I printed them off but woman in front of me had her phone scanned so presume the qr code is fine too.
