Hi, I have read the sticky about selling a car privately, and Im not sure I want the hassle. I would much prefer to go through a dealer as a trade in. I have never done this before so what are the do's and don't's I should be aware off ? Do I mention It ran into a ditch due to ice and had bodywork done on it ? unrelated…

Hi,

I have read the sticky about selling a car privately, and Im not sure I want the hassle. I would much prefer to go through a dealer as a trade in. I have never done this before so what are the do's and don't's I should be aware off ?
Do I mention It ran into a ditch due to ice and had bodywork done on it ? unrelated but has had a new gearbox and clutch.
