Kitchen tap leaking underneath

Woke up to find a pool of water on the kitchen floor in front of the sink. Assumed it was the discharge pipework, but upon inspection it is the hot water supply to the mixer tap. Look like there has been a slow drip for quite some time that has speeded up suddenly. I managed to jiggle the tap fitting to reduce the drip to a minimum. But can anyone offer a solution to this problem?

Pipes look ok, no corrosion on them, tap block leaking, or not sealed where it joines onto sink. Taps need to be removed anyway to reseal it, so I'd replase tap as you'll have to break the rusty locking bracket onto the sink to remove it anyway.

You need a look in person. Could be a loose tail running down the bracket
