    Hi all,

    I'm trying to organise a holiday for a 30th - for 4 friends. So far we're looking at Vegas/San Fran - 8 nights.

Want somewhere that is fun - nightlife, energetic and don't care too much about sight seeing, shopping or beach for this trip. Main criteria is to be able to eat, drink and relax - wander about and not have to go on tours etc. Not beach lovers!

Time wise, 2nd week of March for 8-10 days and budget of €1,000 max.

Would love some suggestions - it has to be a special trip - somewhere to remember.

    Thank you!

What about New York for Paddy's Day? It's great craic in the bars that day! But 3 or 4 days is probably enough.

I was thinking that - plus, there should be a boxing match in Madison Square Gardens that day.. would LOVE to go to that!

We were in Orlando last Christmas - so would prefer to go somewhere different - but it could be an option as a double city kind of holiday - maybe 4 nights Vegas 4 nights Orlando?

You could go to Cheltenham too. Guaranteed craic!

What about Mardi Gras in New Orleans? It's on in March next year.

I'm in Vegas in march and got a very good deal recently with ebookers. Flight Dublin - gatwick - Vegas with virgin atlantic and staying at the excallibur hotel for €650ish each. You could choose an amazing hotel with your 1k budget.
