A few people have now been banned for doping speculation. I would like to remind people that omitting words like drugs and doping from your posts do not mean you are still "keeping within the rules". Please do not use language that maybe suggestive of doping as you'll probably find yourself banned.

The Tour De France daily threads went sour from the same speculation as these are now turning, which is a shame.

If you have nothing positive to add to the thread [i.e stage specific information] then why post at all, if you are not enjoying the racing then don't watch and don't read the threads on here. I for one am enjoying the effort been put in by Dasterly & Darkglasses and the positivity of Antherview [amongst others] in the threads while also thoroughly enjoying the racing.

Check out this feedback thread also

We are operating zero tolerance - if we think you post is constructed in a way to point the finger of suspicion at a particular rider (mentioning facts that are not directly relevant to the race for example), we will assume the worst. That generarally means a ban until at least the end of the event, but for repeat offenders it is likely to be longer

Basic message, if you don't need to say it, then don't bother as it can only go one way and we will not listen to arguments along the lines "well I never actually said I believed he was doping"

Out of curiosity are libel actions a regular thing for boards.ie?
If a poster makes a libelous comment but it is moderated quickly, is that enough to get off the hook?
EDIT: Jusr read linked feedback thread

I certainly was enjoying the racing. Now I feel a fool for investing timewise & emotionally in something that's made me very pished off. Certainly doesn't alter my appreciation for the efforts of Dasterly & Dark Glasses
