Replacing Oil Burning Boiler

I am considering replacing my 20+ year old Firebird boiler with a condensing boiler, probably Grant or Firebird, haven't got to the stage of researching this aspect yet. My immediate problem is that the boiler is located in a boiler room which is located between the house and garage which is attached to the house - essentially the boiler room is under the garage roof but in a separate compartment, separately walled-in with a separate ceiling etc. The boiler flue flows into one of the chimney flues, the other chimney flue servicing the living room etc. I understand that if I install a condensing boiler that it cannot be connected into the chimney flue - is this correct? If this is the case, I do have a problem insofar as the only part of the boiler room with an external wall is to the front of the house and is only as wide as the door, therefore, it is not possible to install an outlet for the boiler here. Neither do I want to channel a flue through the garage as this would also cause problems. What are my options here? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You can connect a flue to a conventional chimney here's info

Many thanks Robbie.G, this is very useful indeed. It makes the job alot easier although possibly more expensive - will research this further with Grant. Strange that the plumber who advised me wasn't aware of this - perhaps I should also look for another plumber! Again, many thanks.
