Just wondering what do you think of the change of lecture times from ten past the hour to on the hour? Do you think it's a change for the better or do you prefer the old system? :P

System? I thought it was just a lecturers choice to slightly delay the starting time just to give everyone a chance to arrive, find seats, settle down etc.

There'll always be those that arrive even a minute or two past so there'll always be a good commotion for the first 5 minutes anyway, so starting at ten past makes good sense to me.

Seems it's because there are some joint courses via Skype with UL and Maynooth, who start on the hour.

They're finishing the previous ones early so it doesn't really make any difference at all, does it?

Not at all. Lecture starts 10 mins earlier, but also ends 10 mins earlier. It shouldn't cause any problems!
