There was a thread here before about how to trick your account to being an English registered one.. Think you need to set up using parcel motel / random English address and them edit it...

Got the book set last time around...great bargain these are usually 8/9 euro each!!

£7.95 postage is a killer.. cannot do it on principle. Would love to get them for my kids. Even using parcel motel I would have to pay some UK postage, and then PM. Would work out a little cheaper.

Register your account with an English address and then add your Irish address when your set up and before you order.
It should be free shipping and you can chose your Irish address to deliver to.

That's how I got free shipping last time I ordered.

I tried to get the free delivery to Ireland with the code but didn't work

I registered with an english address then logged out, went back in and changed addresses, ordered book and the free delivery didn't come off. :(

    Any suggestions?

They came back to me with the card wouldn't go through.

Quite tempted to go for the beatrix potter collection at 30£
Do ye think it would be free delivery to Ireland with spending 25£

The only collection of Michael Morpurgo books on Easons website for €12.99 is an 8 book set, not the same as the one listed earlier in this thread anyway. If you have a link though, happy to click on it, be proved wrong, and then I'll order it!

got it for £15.99 with free delivery, thanks!

Hi Poitinstill. thebookpeople have a lovely winter wonderland collection(£10) or also a lucy cousins collection (£10 the books rather than the activity collection)... both v good value... Smyths have a Julia Donaldson collection (8 books for 13 euro) which is nice too. The bookpeople usually have a similar collection (10 books for £10) but it's out of stock at mo. If you can work the English address trick as mentioned above there is free delivery over purchases of £15 with the bookpeople until midnight tonight...

How can one set up an Irish address for delivery when it asks for a valid UK postcode?

I got mine at the start of the week, but the slip case was damaged to to bad packing (huge box, not enough packing). Noted this with TBP and they sent another immediately, telling me to donate the damaged one to charity. Great service, vendor bookmarked.

EDIT: Tried presenting the smallest book to my 2 year old the night before last, firmly rejected. Book was brought to me tonight and we got halfway through, had to cut him off.

I loved Dahl as a child and I reckon my boys will too, I only hope the repetition doesn't ruin them for me!
