Nope second year. Also a few people on my course have been approved. Even someone who accidentally didn't renew and she had to start a whole new application.

Facebook is the only way to get an answer out of susi if they are not responding to your queries

Can I ask when did you guys get your approval letters?

According to grantsonline.ie my current status is "Provisionally Awarded pending receipt and review of course acceptance details from the CAO". I didn't accept an offer through the CAO so I had to send them my final course acceptance form instead. SUSI then sent me an email saying "Your application is in the final stages of assessment. Once your course details are reviewed, you have registered with your college and your college confirms your registration with us, your application will move to the final assessment phase."

I've been registered with my college for a week now and I still haven't received any approval letter...

I assume if you are receiving BTEA you aren't eligible for susi, correct? (Just wondering)

Yes and No. You're not eligible for the susi maintenance grant but you are eligible for the susi fee grant.

Just wondering if any 2nd year students who applied for renewal and now are at the awarded renewal stage online, have recieved letters from Susi to say this?

My application hass been stuck on "Review of course acceptance details" for just over a month now, they won't tell me anything else. Hopefully they make up their mind soon

I received a letter from SUSI today telling me they'd approved my grant, but the online thingy is still showing the "application awaiting assessment" message.

Does it outline exactly what type of grant they are giving you? I am at provisionaly approved stage, and was told on susi helpdesk theres a letter coming out to me in the next week or so. I need a letter stating the fees etc so i can register in colege
